After a relatively long hiatus from the hobby (thanks university and work), my girlfriend has come to learn exactly how extensive the hobby is... she wanted to build her own rocket which got me super excited.

We went through some general design principals: stability, baffles, through-the-wall fins, finishing techniques, materials, etc.

All of the work she did herself with my instruction.

I present to you The Exhaler... This is a 29mm design with a 54mm airframe, capable of handling a future HPR motor. It has 5 through the wall fins, a piston baffle, kevlar shock cord, and all in all finished well and durable. She went with Duplicor auto-paint... a matte black with metallic blue.

It has yet to fly.
