Hey all. I have a spread sheet with about 3600 cells that are filled with 2 and 3 digit numbers. I'm trying to find a way so that I can multiple all the cells by .3048, instead of going through each cell and doing it one at a time.
Any information would be great.
Thanks,
Matthew

Matthew,

I think the best way to do this is to go to a new sheet. In the first cell reference the first cell of the original sheet and multipy by your number. the result will be the answer for the first cell. Then simply copy the cell and paste the formula into all the remaining parallel cells on the second sheet. The formulas will change to multiply your new number with each reference cell. I'm attaching an example because I'm a lousy instructor.
Basically you can copy cell A1 in my '.3048' sheet to get the formula you need. Good luck!
