I'm returning to the hobby after a long absence and intrigued by developments over the last couple of decades! My main interest is scale models, but I'm warming up first on some simple classics to re-sharpen old skills.

Starting off with something utterly unspectacular, the Estes Eclipse, to rekindle those old skills. I think I bought this in 1986; I have a very old stash! 
The engine mount has been installed, spiral has been filled, lug attached and filleted, with the fins attached and waiting to be filleted. The lug is awfully big for such a small kit, and bound to generate more drag than all the fins combined!
