Anybody know where I can get heatshields that fit 4" diameter tubes that are cheap? I need 2 for my high power project. Or, does anybody know where I can buy nomex or something similar and make my own? Thanks!

Countdown hobbies also carries them. They are great. Using one of them, I can fit a 36" nylon chute in a 6" space of my EZI's payload section when I set the rocket for dual deployment.

I get mine from Top Flight Recovery . Get the shock cord protector along with the nomex, and you have a dog-barf free rocket! They work great, even after many lanches. I use them in my PE honest John because there is not enough room for dog barf....the nomex saves space, too.

Thanks everybody! I will probably go with Giant Leap's heat shields because I have some stuff to order from there sometime soon, unless anybody knows where I can buy Nomex or kevlar cloth. Thanks.
