Okay for those that have trailers they take to launches. I have a 7x16 trailer with cabinets up front, I am looking for some ideas for how to hall/store rockets. I had thought I seen someone make a grid out of pvc tubing but for the life of me I cannot find it. Show me what you have come up with for transporting besides just putting them down on a blanket.

Haul is the correct spelling btw.

several threads already on this:

I went to Lowes and checked on prices of pvc fittings as used in the transport racks below:

3/4" cross fittings are $6.00 each

I built a storage rack for LPR in my garage.
https://www.rocketryforum.com/threads/rocket-storage-project.173903/I had the idea that I could take tubes like this and stand them up vertically in a tall cardboard box then carry rockets out to the range like that.
The OP didn't say what size rockets he wanted to carry. There are lots of ways to build horizontal grids or vertical grids to carry rockets, depending on the size of what you need to carry. Those PVC pipe grids look neat but require a lot of pieces including a lot of fittings. I think you could build a similar system using full length pieces of pipe and everywhere they cross you just bolt through both of them. For that matter you could do the same thing with 2x2 pieces of wood.

Since I don't have any huge rockets, I mostly keep them in boxes full of packing peanuts and/or ziplock bags full of dog barf.

I made two pvc grids. I’ve posted pictures of it before. Unfortunately if you don’t strap the rockets together the swinging of the two grids pulls them apart gradually.
