Happy Birthday mate! :D

At last - a good reason to get trolley-ed.

Here's 10 fags[1] as a present.

[1] = this word has a differant meaning, over here, btw ;)

So I had to look up the definition, and this is what was given at dictionary.com:

FAG:

A student at a British public school who is required to perform menial tasks for a student in a higher class.
A drudge.
Chiefly British. Fatiguing or tedious work; drudgery.

v. fagged, fag·ging, fags
v. intr.
To work to exhaustion; toil.
To function as the servant of another student in a British public school.

v. tr.
To exhaust; weary: Four hours on the tennis court fagged me out

P.S. Thanks for the fags, that'll save me going down the shops.

Missed it? Hardly, your post was just 13 minutes into my birthday.
Actually, given the state of TRF's clock, you probably posted _before_ my birthday ;)

Amongst my presents is a copy of "Titan" by Stephen Baxter. It's pretty exciting. There's already been a shuttle crash (Columbia), a Saturn V launch, an X-15 trying to shoot down Endeavour, and Discovery setting off for Saturn with bits of the ISS and a couple of Apollo command modules in the hold

Me neither, actually, it's just a bit of an in-joke between me and cyder ;)

Jan 2nd 2001 was the first day for 17years that the first thing I did in the morning was NOT light a fag. I've not had one since! :D (Over the past year I have allowed myself the very occasional cigar, and that can be good fun as you go all giddy from the nicotene. Mind you, you notice it on your lungs the next day :( )
