Greetings - I was wondering if there are any known applications for handheld devices (Palm, iPhone, Windows Mobile, etc). If so, and you have used any I would appreciate any feedback on them.

There's software for the RDAS for older version of the Palm, but it's known buggy, and should not be used to configure the altimeter. That may have changed since I last looked at it, but last I saw, it appeared it hadn't been.

There's also a program I believe called iRocket, which should be available for the iPhone/iPod Touch very shortly. It's written by someone in Europe and looks to be very full-featured.

Lukas Müller has written an application called iPowerRocket that allows the amateur rocketeer to compute the center of pressure (CP), trajectory simulations, ejection charge size computations and parachute sizing calculations for the iPhone and iPod Touch. iPowerRocket is available in the App Store.

The official website for iPowerRockety is here.

It's also available on the iTunes App Store as of Feb 10th.

I like it, it has some great features, and lukas has been open to suggestions from the rocketry community on Rocketry Planet.
