It looked pretty responsive to the controls as well! .. now how about putting a similar aero engine on the picnic table from Largs ... might get a longer flight than the rocket version :D

Boost it on rocket motors ... sustained flight on a gas turbine .. Jetcat or AMT

cool video! thanks for the link

there's a guy that runs a little R/C hobby shop in a small town near me and he built a couple of those flying lawnmowers. He also has a flying "Snoopy on his Doghouse", a flying "Witch on a broomstick" and a flying stop sign.

When he showed me them I asked him how in the world does a stop sign fly? (the sign is made of a flat sheet of foam, no airfoil!)

and he just smiled and said "with enough power you can make anything fly."

same thing applies to rockets!
