OK, this one's gonna be more difficult.

Same rules, post only the first letter of the name (NOT the whole name), and how many pics it took.

I need another hint please.

I am guessing this is domestic and either a missile or sounding rocket.

First I thought P but the wrong color

Then NO ,but it just doesn't look right.

Pic#5 - Operationally, more of a dark green/olive color, but the above B&W was the best "big" image I had found.

Here's part of a drawing that has more accurate colors and some markings.

What pic # was the one that made you recognize it?

Bristol Bloodhound. One of the "not pretty"-ist missiles ever to be operational. With the four solid motor that dropped off quickly after accelerating it fast enough for the two ramjets to take over.

OK, someone else's turn to post something.

It was #3 George, as soon as I saw the tips of the boosters is when the realization hit.

I did not know until now, that there was another missile looking much the same, using some of the same parts, called Thunderbird. Main difference was that the Thunderbird used an internal liquid fuel rocket engine at the back, while Bloodhound used the two side-mounted ramjets.

THERE IS A MODEL ROCKET KIT of the Thunderbird (version 1). Apparently BT-60 sized.

Might also be a good source for using most of the parts to convert into a Bloodhound..... main issue being scratchbuilding the Ramjets.

Shipping might be a bit steep.

OK, someone else want to come up with another rocket for people to identify?
