So, I've downloaded some e-books with my Kindle Unlimited account, but they're all useless. Most of them talk about the different types of 3D printing, the history, the terms, etc. NONE of them tell me how to plan for and execute my first print. I've printed some stuff already, but I'd like a decent reference book, a How-To manual, that I can follow along with until I get more confidence. Any suggestions?

Though this is specifically for Prusa, this is in my opinion one of the best guides. Everything here may not fit because it covers all the details for a prusa, but the general fundamental information is well written in here

If you are looking for a single book that covers everything, there is also this:

I want to note that as you print often, take apart the printer, and learn more about the machine, you will almost never need to refer to a guide. Most issues are pretty simple, and knowing how the printer works helps to identity and fix issues quite easily. Though I am only in high school and not a professional, I have shiwed freinds how to use their printers, I always start with how the printer works in detail, that way most issues can be traced back and solved without having to look in a book or online, though a reference guide is always good to have. Anyway I hope I helped in some way sir

I'd also recommend joining the facebook group for your printer/software. Many good questions answered there, along with all the latest issues/updates. forums can also provide good insight, so long as you steer clear of dogs...
