Thought some may be interested to see the upscale Lil Ivan I have been working on. Starting to look good and hopefully will be in paint this week.

Mark Hayes did a great job with the decals (as always) and you can't go wrong with the team at PML and their 11.75 Glassed Phenolic.

Will be flown on K1999, L1300, or M1419

Hope to fly at MDRA this month

Will document some of the build as I have been using some new practices and materials (although maybe not the most cost affective) for assembly.

close up fin pic. Using 7/8" birch ply laminated with phenolic. Then attach 1/4 round to the leading edge. No filling to do but the leading edge and the exposed wood cut surfaces.

It is a PML harpoon nose cone. Filled the tip with resin and sanded the pointed tip off.
