Folks,

According to Pratt Hobbies website, Doug Pratt tripped and broke both wrists.

I don't know Mr. Pratt personally, but I've come to have a great deal of respect for his company and the services he provides our community.

I don't think he posts here but I thought that those of you wanting to send "Get Well Soon" notes could post here and I'll forward a link to this thread to his email.

What a rotten accident.

Believe it or not, you're not the only one to break both at the same time. When I was 6, I fell from the top of a jungle gym at school, and broke both my arms. I looked a little funny riding my bike and playing baseball with casts on both arms, but it didn't slow me down. Then when I was about 14, a friend of mine came down too hard off a motorcycle jump, and broke both his wrists.
It happens. Take care, and get well.
