ok so i ordered a tlp kit the ALARM and im told it requires advanced modeling techniques such as cutting out my own fins applying CA to fins fabricating shrouds out of cardstock ect. ect what are some of the better methods
 
well if you don't like paper shrouds, given the dimensions, I'm sure the Sandman could and would turn you really nice ones out of balsa.....

If it's like some of the other TLP kits, you may have to make a paper "hat" for a round nose cone to get a pointed shape. Carl did an excellent review of the Standard ARM for EMRR, in which he described his technique for making those "hats."
