i wanted to build some thing that had no fins but still went quite high so i built a funnel rock, its BT55 based i modeled it up in rocksim then used VCP to make a template the cone it 60mm in diameter at the end, it will fly on 18mm motors and i stable

BTW i used a Pappadum box for the funnel

:) I built one about a month or two ago, Still untested. Hopefully this Sunday it will get to fly at the Club launch. Mine is builts from Quest body tubes which are a tad bigger in diameter than BT-20.
Should be interesting as this is also my first finless type of rocket.

    Hi guys,

So, how do you Sim these Rocs? Do you just make the tail a transition in Rocksim with an internal tube/engine mount?

    Thanks,

 Jeff I have no idea what brand keyer paddles they are. I paid somethink like 20 bucks for them over 20 years ago. They just bolt on to your own base.... Love the K2!
