Free Drawing Program?

Does anybody know of a fairly decent FREE drawing program.

Yeah, if it can draw rockets that would be nice, but I was wanting to draw a few schematics/diagrams and controller systems...

Nothing to fancy or with a steep learning curve... just basic shapes, lines that connect, some symbols(?)...

Photoshop LE is on the Adobe Premiere CD, I can't find mine of course.
