Just wanted to share a solution I came up with to house an Eggtimer Quark, Eggfinder mini and either one 7.4v 1000mAh Lipo or two 7.4v 500mAH lipo's.

Still need to do the wiring, eye bolt, and install the
2-56 LumaDyne fasteners to secure the nose cone to the coupler. Will be using a cable cutter for the main and small vial charge towards the bottom of the airframe for the drouge. I intend to fly this on G and I motors.

Feel free to discuss. I will update as it's finished.

I like it... Looking forward to seeing the nose to coupler attatchment. Also, I can't guarantee I wont copy and do something like this. I would be comfortable with using one battery to run both. Especially if I could still use motor backup ejection. But it will probably out fly any H or I delay times.

Will you static vent through the coupler and top bulkhead?

Are charge wires just running through the bulkheads and putty seal the bottom?

Copy away! Finished it up today and time for ground testing. For venting there is a small section of straight tube on the nose cone left from where the top of the bulkhead sits inside the nose cone. I drilled 3 air sample holes there. Yes, I will use some putty to seal the small hole where the e-matches come out on the bottom bulk plate. It's a small hole. The matches would be wrapped on the eye bolt to anchor them.

Here are some photos and you can see how I install the LumaDyne fasteners. They come with stainless screws but I use titanium screws on all of them. 2-56, 4-40 and 6-32.
You can only get these at Apogee. All my rockets use them and you can use them as shear pin fasteners too. After you drill the hole put masking tape over the section and cut a circle hole with an exacto to contain the epoxy so it looks nice and makes a uniform fillet. Smooth with your gloved finger dipped in 91% rubbing alcohol and q-tip to clean them up.

I might do a detailed write up on these soon.
Enjoy and discuss.

This is very nice. Where did you get the L-bracket?
