Fliskits Corona Staging Failure

The Corona is easily my favorite 2 stage rocket. I have about 10-12 flights on a few of the parts of this one. This was my 1st staging failure. I did prep the rocket properly and have no clue why the 2nd stage failed to fire. Being a rebuild, I had added strakes about to the midway point of the rocket. The only damage from this launch was the ring fin popped off. She will fly again.

It did backside at the last second and saved the day!

I would carefully inspect the upper stage motor (and do so before every flight). Every time I have experienced a similar failure it has been because of debris (usually clay from manufacturing) that is blocking the fuel inside the nozzle.
