Happy New Year to TRF. 2004 has come to a close and 2005 has just begun.
We hope the coming years prove as fruitfull as our first 2 years of operation. It has been quite a ride and the most exciting thing I have ever been involved in (well, next to raising two kids...
)
We're getting ready to announce two new kits, we're going to be announcing our latest FlisFleet (2004), I've just finished our newest catalog (12 pages now!) and am looking forward to traveling to different events this coming year, with Kathy.
In pondering the past couple of years I had the chance to review our web site statistics and I was surprised and pleased at the same time.
We see steady year over year and month over month growth and the traffic to our web site is very strong (an indication of the many current and future customers who are exploring FlisKits).
Our first month of operation recorded over 337,000 hits to our web site (now, "hits" are not "visitors". Rather it is one of the many ways to measure web site use and it shows how many requests were made to the server to display a page or image). Still... ...337,057 recorded for September 2002. For the year ending 2002 we averaged 222,250 hits per month.
For 2003 we averaged 408,838 hits per month for a total of 4,906,065 for the year.
2004 saw an average of 607,635 per month with a yearly total of 7,291,624 hits. (and over 52GB in downloads!)
September (our birthday month) has held the high mark all 3 years with well over 700,000 hits each time (hoping to break that million mark in 2005
), yet for 2 years running, January has produced the most sales (so we have high hopes for the coming 4 weeks
)
I want to thank everyone here for the part that you have played in helping us be successful. Whether by purchasing a kit or telling someone else about our products.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements for two new products, our payload kits, slated for release in mid-January (we wanted to get them out in December so that they would be part of the FlisFleet04, but just couldn't get it done!)
After that, our next kit release will be at NARCON
Happy holidays and a most prosperous New Year to everyone!
Thank you again.
