Ive had a brief history with using a Runcam Split 4K to film my rocket lifting off. I had 3D printed a housing
so that it would look aft during its flight. The problem I encountered is that after apogee (sometimes) the flight camera
would cut out and the video would end abruptly. Its still only a theory, but I've got a feeling that video being recorded to
the SD card was impacted. Maybe a jiggle, jolt, whatever.
So it got me thinking, "Does anything record video to an onboard chip"? Thats when I stumbled onto the Runcam
DJI Digital HD FPV Air Unit. I've not bought anything yet, but wanted to see if anybody has used this Air Unit to record
video digitally and not to an SDCard? Or if there are any other similar flight cameras that have a so called Onboard DVR?
Thanks,
