You can keep it low, slow and easy and still fly the snot out of it.
I think this is what a classic looks like : estes big bertha.JPG

I'm pretty sure Mr. Estes flew the snot out of it.

First 2 flights today! It went perfect!

I flew on an Aerotech F27-4R. Went straight as an arrow off the pad and went to about 800 feet or so. Ejection was right on time, and the Jolly Logic Chute Release set to 300 feet worked flawless both launches. Landed about 30 yards from the pad the first time, and about 70 yards the 2nd time. The wind picked up for the 2nd flight, I could have set the chute release to 200 but I'll think about that next time. I am thrilled with the results from today.

I took a few pics before, and on the way down.

Good show!
Time to throw a couple G's at it.

Mine may fly tomorrow if I can get the altimeter bay rigged properly. It's ~22oz currently with the electronics, chute and hardware.

Agreed- My Argent has 10 or 12 g40 and g80 flights- perfect motor for it.
