Well, I finally got around to launching my first cluster rocket, a 4x24 Big Daddy (sorry, no launch pics). It's been sitting for the last few months waiting for me to find a launch site. Anyway, I lauched it twice today on 4xD12-5s. Man, was that fun!! Lots of smoke
I used a portable power pack (used for boosting dead car battaries) for ignition. It pumps out 12V@300A, so it didn't take long to ignite the motors. All motors lit perfectly on both launches, and the flights were picture perfect, approx 900ft. Now I know why so many of you are fans of BP clusters!!
