Well, I finally finished my Fliskits Tres(like I even need to identify who the manufacturer is). Actually it's not 100% finished, I still need to cut out and attach the parachute. Anyway here are some pictures. The first is an overall view, the other two are sectional views. Construction was easy, as were the instructions. I am planning on flying this next weekend out in Lucerne, it will be my first launch of the year, so I plan on taking lots of pictures. Anyway, here's the first picture.....

Here's the top section. Trying to paint flames is really hard. Although, after I masked it off, I did apply a light coat of clear gloss to the masked areas and this helped reduce the paint from running underneath, for the most part.
Anyway picture 2....

Now in this last picture I was going for something a little different. I was trying to give it the effect of flames coming out of the motor tubes. Didn't quite know how to blend the flames together into the black, so the result is this.....

Mine's been done for about 6 weeks, and I'm painting it this week... being in the Navy doesn't leave much time for rocketry, sometimes!

I flew mine in February. It went a lot higher than I expected on 3 C6-5's. I'm working on a big scale up now, see the HPR forum.

YOu're doing a great job! I love the flames and the all black look is very cool :)

I'm working on another one to paint it like the cover art. My original (black and red) didn't look good on the cover so i changed it but never got to build that style...

My Tres was fun to build. I copied the cover art scheme, but with red and black. I played with it in photoshop to make it look like the cover art.:)

My goal is to eventually have mine painted Blue Angels style, complete with the cursive logo. Unfortunately, that may take quite a while, though!
