Finally found some 1/4" TN

Used to be able to get some great stuff from Bally Mills eBay store. Tubular Nylon and Kevlar at great prices. I think it was government surplus. I have not seen anything for some time.

Very nice stuff. I have always preferred a thinner, but longer shock cord. Did yours come with any reference to strength? There was a 1400 pound strength rating listed on the site. But it did specify if that was the 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2". I would assume that the 1/2" is rated at 1400lbs.

Safe bet. 1400# sounds a bit high for 1/4".

I intrepret it as meaning a snowshoe made with it will support 1400 lb.

Mine showed up yesterday, got some 1/4" and some 1/2". Very nice stuff. Pricing/shipping is very good also.
