Fiberglass Nose Cone for LOC 3.9" Airframe?

Not sure this is the correct forum, but are there any vendors that produce fiberglass nose cones that fit LOC 3.9" airframe?

You'll have to do some sanding but the 4" nosecone from Composite Warehouse almost fits. It's about 1/32" too wide.


Personally, I'd sand the ridges down on a LOC nosecone and put a wrap of FG on it before going through the process of trying to get a FWFG nosecone to fit.

one thing to be careful of is the added weight of the FG NC could make your rocket significantly over stable which could result in coning.

note is say could as this is not a 100% certainty.

That's a good point. However, I need to add some weight forward to move the CG up on this specific rocket.

It's no problem adding weight to a plastic cone
