I'm thinking about making a beefy Ventris. The NC uses the 2.5" OD Estes PSII tubing. Was thinking about glassing the tubes and tip-to-tip on the fins, but glassing an NC is tough....

As far as I know, there is no such beast. Estes tubing is not standard diameter.

Might try 2 part expandable foam to make the NC rigid.

I like that idea! Probably would help hold in some NC weight, too!
