Buy a cardboard one and clone it in fiberglass. Use the decals as that's what makes the Max a Max.

This. I made a fiberglass mega der red max (well other than the nosecone). Estes sells the nosecone (or did last summer), and I got the plywood fins from rocketry works (sadly now gone), and then used a soller composites sleeve for the body tube and did a tip to tip layup over that. And I printed the IPL screw in ebay so I have room for an altimeter and tracker in the nosecone. Got the proper stickers from Mark at Stickershock23. Its an awesome flier (and has survived some bad landings since I fiberglassed it).

Design it in Rocksim or Openrocket. Export the fin templates. Sent Wildman the fin templates, airframe length, slot length and distance from the bottom of the airframe to start of fin slot. He'll make it for you. Buy the odd bits, NC, recover, CRs, retainer, good to go!

The picture with completed rocket looks to be the 4"
