FGCTripoli launch 8/20

This Saturday on the 20th, our rocketry club FGCTripoli is having our monthly launch.

One flight that should get attention is Harold's SAAB or whatever he calls it on a K695 Redline.

I can't wait to see that flight!!!

Today turned out to be a great day for flying except the heat, is it just me or does this summer seen unusually hot???

First up was my Yank Wraith on a G33-7J. This was the first time I flew a G motor in this rocket and it turned out to be a great motor for it.

Second up was my PML Explorer on an H210-M-R. Nice fast punch off the pad to about 2,500 feet.

Unfortunately the chute never deployed, not sure why, it ended up lawn darting. Even after an extensive search by myself and a few others, it was not to be found.
