3D Printing FFF metal printing (sort of)

Apparently BASF is making a filament that you can print at home and they will finish (debind and sinter) to make stainless steel parts. It sounds like the process takes a week or so to get back from them, so probably not a big win over sending it out to third-party printing services, but interesting nonetheless.

That's an exciting further step down the road toward DIY sintering ovens!

... and before anybody naysays, remember that 10 years ago a 10cm^3 build envelope was a 1k parts pack.
