Hello

We have put our body tube and parts price list up on our web site. We are looking at getting any feedback that we can on our prices and selection of tubes and parts. We have made our selections by looking at most people use. Our tubes will be 34" white kraft/glassine.

If you would please go to www.rocketheadrockets.com and click on the body tube and parts selection and send us back any feedback you might have either good or bad. We are trying to supply the parts at a price that everyone will like.

Thank you
Tom

Tom,

The screen with the sales prices is a little hard to read - perhaps the alternating-line formatting is what is throwing me off. Would it work better to make the lines read straight across with a table?

Also, I'm assuming that you will later update the links from the other pages to include the BT page as well?

No comment on pricing from me. I'm still a kit guy when it comes to LPR, so I've never shopped around for body tubes.

I do have a suggestion though. You use your own SKU system for your tubes, yet your rings use the Estes standard. You might want to pick one or the other to avoid confusion.

Actually, the sku numbers look like they make sense to me. Example:

RHRT2034 - Rockethead Rockets - Tube - BT20 - 34" long
RHRT5034 - Rockethead Rockets - Tube - BT50 - 34" long

At the top of the tube paragraph, it states that they are all 34" long, hence this explains the "34" after the tube diameter.

Likewise, the couplers work out:

RHRCP504 - Rockethead Rockets - Coupler - for BT50 - 4" long

Look at enough parts suppliers, and you start noticing making sense of it all.

Just a quick glance, but it looks like your prices are excellent. You'd get an order from me with prices like that.

I didn't mean to imply that it was inscrutable, nor that I didn't understand it. However, part of the service a vendor provides is to make it easy for any customer to place an order, not just for the customer who has "looked at enough parts suppliers". This wasn't meant as a criticism at all, only as a suggestion to make the site a little more user-friendly for beginners.

Hello

Thank you for the feedback. This is not a finished page. I just did this so I could post a price list so people could see my prices and I could get feedback on interest. I want to be able to order enough that I will not be running out of any tube. I will be getting a finished page done here in a couple weeks.

Thank you for the feedback

The prices look good. Just about every tube is $0.25 less than Balsa Machining Service.
