The family went out for a little launch today. I seized the opportunity to fly my Patriot on a couple C11's. It flew GREAT. straight up. The first flight was something incredible, not because of the quality, but because the shock cord actually UNTIED it's self when the ejection charge went off. My brother flew his first rocket and lost the fin on the first flight. So i offered to buy him another one. It did a full corkscrew and continued up until the charge went off. It was great.

There is a nice slideshow.

Here is the video I put together. I love the cosmic cobra flight. it was hilarious. the body came down hard, then there is the nosecone with it's helicopter blades coming down ever so softly.

Nice slide show, great to see families involved.

Yeah it was a lot of fun. I need to get my little cousin ( the one looking into the rocket tube) into some aerotech rockets. I was thinking about giving him A mustang that has been in my garage for a while.

forgot a picture!

Great video! Unfortunately where I live (San Diego) You can't just go launch model rockets due to a run in from the FAA. And the only place you can launch just got rained out, and has three large lakes.

Wow, not even small motors like A's and B's?

Also, what is a Jr.Level 1 certification? I've never seen that before.

Awesome pix.
Like the Cosmic Cobra recovery without chute.
Thanks for posting......
