I found out about this form a friend who flies Control Line Aircraft.

Basically the FAA wants to have any thing RC controlled have a transponder that can be ping. AMA is saying this is not fair and will kill us. My friend says the big problem is folks who fly FPV drones with out a spotter. But this will impact anyone who flies RC Boost Gliders, and I could see where down the line where this could get pressed onto us as well RC or not.
