Yes - I have. There was, Eric F's seven motor cluster rocket that had 6 G80's and a H210 at the Whitakers launch in April. The motor's seemed to be hanging out the back of the rocket some, with that kind of adapter. It was a cool, straight up flight, and it was perfectly stable!

He's a member here - I'm sure he'll stick his nose in soon.

The LOC/Precision 4-29SS is nothing more than an aft motor mount. The fins mount directly to the exposed 4-motor MMT.

Here is a 3 18mm cluster we are working with Exposed motor mount and tube fins. It flies great.

And for those of you with more money than sense...

There is the LOC King Viper 3

3 x 54MM

9' long x 5.5" dia

rocket trike - Interesting, any sense of scale? Also how did you come up with the lug location, I would think it's easier on the main BT.
