Oh yeah... Wouldn't it be cool to equip whatever remote controlled vehicle with a launcher and have it fire some MicroMaxx's or some other tiny rockets... Any of you ever done this?
There are some particular problems in doing that:
    - avoiding accidential launches caused by radio disturbance
    - how do you design a simple, tiny and lightweight launcher with a suitable mechanism to keep the rocket in place when the vehicle moves. What release mechanism might be used?
    - where do the fins go if you wanna make your launcher a closed tube
    - how do you avoid having your vehicle harmed by the rocket engine
    - ...
If you have any experiences or ideas to share, this is the time...

    Thanks!

    Ori,

Actually I had thought about it some 15+ years ago or more when I bought some Mosquitos to launch off my R/C Helicopter rails...

...then I found out that the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics)doesn't allow this for safety reasons...so I would have been uninsured and possibly banned from the airfield. I decided against trying it.

BTW, I still have the Mosquitos, unbuilt, still in their bags

I've thought about it. But I don't want to damage my RC.
