Lost mine last week in sacrifice to Hung (the god of lost rockets). It pulled the upper launch rod with it and once the rod fell free the ‘bird’ flew its own course - a fiendish arc over trees at the back side of the field.

I always loved the SR71 but a little too steep for me.

Is there any way you could do a photocopy scan of the balsa and the body modification paper? I've been looking everywhere for the specs.

Don't despair, they pop up on eBay regularly.
For less than on TRF.

It's a fun model to build, but there is not enough room for a proper chute (plastic one gets singed all the time), and it hardly ever flies straight.
Looks great on the ground and on the shelf.

I've actually never had any of those problems with it.

I just sold 3 couple weeks ago on here. 1 sealed, 1 open box and one open no box.
I never gave it a thought to scan any of the parts with a rule.
Now I wish I would have had the foresight to do so...
