Like the Scamp, this one turned out WAY better than I'd ever dared to hope, then had a star-crossed flying career. Still flyable, but she don't look so good no more. :wink:

The Sky Raider came out during the years when I had taken a hiatus from the hobby, and I never got a chance to get one.

Last years I made a heavy-duty version that uses the Semroc Series 125 tube. The OD is just about that of the BT-35. The cone is one I got in a parts assortment; hardwood, with a hole bored in the base.

I made the fins a bit bigger; I call it the Star Raider.
