Very interesting. I never realized it was the same rocket. I wish I would have known that before I filmed the introduction so I could have included that little tidbit. Thanks for sharing that.

I had one of these as a kid. I still have the nosecone and payload section and one of the fins.....somewhere.

You did a better job holding to the kit renderings than I did. My largest problem was the slide-off decals, which were not in great shape due to the age.

When I flew it (once, just to say I did) I had a parachute recovery of the body, but the nose left the party. I found it later on the ground. The small screw eye had pulled out of the balsa nose. I found it later and it is now on a shelf.
