Good morning :)
I had the opportunity to lay my hands on an Estes Phoenix kit which I bought off a german forum. Now its time to start that build :)

The 24 motor tube gets a screw retainer instead of the hook. I just like that better. Furthermore, the engine block is installed in such a way that either the Aerotech 24/40 casing can be used or 18mm propellant charges with an adapter. I've already tried that with my Green Mean. Works great.
The retainer thread was roughened and glued to the motor tube with 5-minute epoxy and the bulkhead to the tube with Aliphatic glue.

It went a little further: I decided to do the rear fins with TTW mount. Maybe gives a little more stability and the weight is negligible. At some point I have to build a proper fin gauge :D
