Hello,
Is there some one who couldt tell me something about the 1994 pro series Maxi Force. Plans or some pictures?

Thanks !!
Jochen

Jochen,

The Maxi-Force was part of the first series of rocket kits released under the PRO Series label.

Specifications:

Length: 127 cm

Diameter: 63.5 mm

Weight: 348 g

Initially powered by three D12-7 motors.

These kits were an attempt to compete with the AeroTech product line when Estes did not have composite motors.

These PRO Series were sold in boxes that folded much like the AeroTech packaging.

New nose cone molds were made as the body tube diameter was a new size.

The kits were not popular and were last listed in the 1996 Estes catalog.

The die-cutting on the wood centering rings was not very good. The fins consisted of a balsa core with spruce pieces cut by the modeler and glued to the edges.

The first production runs of these kits were designed for use with D12 motors. When the Estes E15 motors were released, longer motor hooks were put in these kits so they could fly with the E15 motors.
