Picked this up and the Redstone this last week. While I wait for my HPR to arive I thought I'd better get these two kits built.

I like rockets of all sizes. I like scale and non scale. I have alway loved Mercury through Apollo spacecraft. And the Little Joe's were a favorite too. I grew up on these spacecraft in the 60's so it's just a kick in the pants to build these. So much fun.

I'm thinking I might scratch build a Little Joe 1 but a larger version for 29-38 mm motors. Thinking about it.

Anyway it's going quickly. Tomorrow I get to paint the booster silver shes just primered currently and drying overnight.

Lots more progress in between the lines of working on the Zephyr. Love the little Joe. What is it about the little Joes? I'm going to have to get the Little Joe 2 next. ;)

And can someone please tell me the name of this unfinished Estes I found buried under stuff from 3 years ago? Seems they discontinued it too.

The QCC is a great rocket. Nice and draggy so it doesn't teleport away like the sleeker ones. Great on composite motors too if you leave the motor bloc out.
