This Launch Controller is on sale at Ebay, takes 4 C cells, 15 feet cable. I have not heard anyone on this forum mention this controller, any information, such as, years marketed /sold, ownership, usage would be appreciated and interesting read for our members.
 
Have one, don't use it. For a time a few years ago I was on a GSE collecting kick. Some of them get brought out once a year when we have a "classic" day at our club launch so we can fly classic designs off of classic GSE.

Yes, the E2 is very similar to, but not as capable as, the current PSII controller or the Command Control unit (the one that takes two 6-cell NiCd packs and lets you use one or both of them). For day-to-day flying, the PSII controller is the way to go for sure.
