Estes Big Daddy: Plywood Modification/Upgrade Kit

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

Today I saw a photo of someone’s build pile that had an Estes Big Daddy kit and a package of ply centering rings, fins, and a few other goodies for it. Packaged in a plastic envelope without any identifiable markings.

Any idea where I can find such a mod package?

I asked the poster where it came from and I may or may not hear from the rocketeer.

Never mind.

My Duck Duck Go-fu is stronger than I thought.

The package I observed was made by Rocketry Works at Rocketryworks.com based on the original fuzzy rez image compared to the very clear website photo.

$16 for the package.

Yes. I Apparently mis-remembered the business name and will correct it for the next person searching for Big Daddy mods.

They offer a number of options in the packages for the Big Daddy: Thin wall 29mm motor tube, thick wall 29mm, etc. It’s all laser cut and I get the impression they do custom work as well.

With shipping I paid just under $25 but it saved me at least an hour’s worth of work if not more.
