Nice build and good build thread! That should be a fun rocket to fly. Cutting off the sloping shoulder on the NC and using the bulkhead will give you a lot more room in the chute compartment. That’s a great improvement.

What motors are you thinking about?

still thinking about that but definitely looking to start on F motors and if all goes well will move up from there
But looking to have a smaller F motor for my local club launches that will accommodate the field size and then hopefully bump it to G motors when I am at bigger field locations

Here is what I came up with to modify my Big Daddy's that I have modded for 29 and 38mm motors. Only costs a few dollars and its easy to do, no special tools required.

The 38mm MM Big Daddy's nose cone can be substituted for a boat anchor. How much weight did you add?

Got nose cone weight added with a wood dowel through the NC to help hold the weight

also got the bulk head epoxied into the shoulder of the nose cone aft end
Scuffed up the inside the best I could to help the epoxy adhere. The shoulder lip on the NC also locks it in nice

Got the nose cone primer then painted gloss grey

big daddy decal coming next and attaching the chute and shock cord

did a bunch on rocksim today for the big daddy rocket also

Hey sorry for the delay just saw this
I used right around 4ounce of bb’s in the NC to cover me up to a G motor .

For this rocket I used BSI epoxy
(Bob smith) I believe it was the 15 minuet cure. I tend to use BSI 5 minuet or 15 minuet cure for most of my builds. I also like rocket poxy.

I love using CA to build too! Man, almost building the same thing! I went with 2.5" for my NC bulkhead to try and give myself some more room. I know I posted above but man your build is nice!!! Cool build, again!!!
