Estes BB III Nose Cone Length (7243)

Can anyone tell me the length of the nose cone? Just the tapered part.

Just pulled one out of an unbuilt kit.

The transition from straight to taper isn't a hard edge, but eyeballing it, I'd put it about 15/16 inch from the base that sits against the tube. Tip is approximately 5 23/32 inch from the base that sits against the tube.

Shoot! I just realized I messed the title up. I got it half wrong. I do need the measurement for kit number 7243, but it's the Black Brant II kit. I put BB III in the title

Mr SolarYellow, did you measure a BBII or BBIII kit?

The numbers above are the BT-50 BB III kit.

I don't have a 7243 BB II kit, but I have the BT-55 nose cone kit with two Cherokee-E and two BB II nose cones. The exposed, tapered portion of the BB II nose cone is 6.5 inches.
