Estes Astron?

Here's something I've always wondered but have never seen an explanation for... Why are all early Estes rocket kits (and some current) called "Astron xxx?" What exactly is "Astron?" It sounds like a product line or but as all kits were Astron Something, this doesn't seem to fit, either.

Any ideas on where Astron came from and what it signifies?
 
kuririn - Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for, though not the answer I was expecting. In short, it means... nothing! Just a forward sounding term that Vern tacked onto his product names.

At least the mystery is solved!
