I have a few of these, a couple of both versions of the builder's model, and one of the RTF versions (I don't have the decals for the RTF, so I'm not creating a .ork file for it). However, I'm currently in China, and I can't build, so I'm simming them.

These OR simulations have the decals as they'd have been applied. The bright gold decals on the camera in the original livery are beyond my abilities to reproduce in OR. I also didn't include the single layer of paper "stand-offs" from step 4 of the assembly process.

This is an original AstroCam that I purchased in an eBay lot as a "body in white". I printed off some decals and painted the fin can. First flight was this past Saturday before the rain hit. No film. I'm not that loaded.

Last Saturday I dragged this one out for its first flight since 2001. My son came upstairs as I was about to leave and laughed because it was one that he remembered from the days when he'd actually go to launches with me.
