I've built a clone of the OOP Alien Space Probe and it's time for decals. The versions on the plan sites is a little bit low quality and I don't have the graphical skills to clean them up.

Does anyone have a good scan of the decals I can use?

That's a tough one. Because of the white in some of the decals, the original had a blue paper background ( so you can see where the white is when cutting it out ). Even if someone had an original decal and scanned it for you, the result would be the same as on JimmyZ's plans page.
What I've done for home printed white decals is change the background color on the scan (with a graphics program) to match the rocket's body color, and print on white decal paper.
Not a perfect solution, but better than nothing.
If you're willing to spend a few bucks, Mark at Stickershock23 has that in vinyl for a BT-80 size:https://stickershock23.com/product/estes-alien-space-probe/

I can handle the background like you said in a graphics program, but the lines on the files on JimZ aren't square and the colors aren't crisp which makes me think they were done a while back when the scanners weren't as good as they are today. I'm willing to spend the $ with Mark, I was mainly trying to attempt something I hadn't done before.

Downloaded this from JimZ's site. Looks pretty clean to me.

You are correct. I'm not sure where I got the version I have, thought I had looked there. Thx.

For Rainmaker and anyone else interested:
At GlenP's suggestion on another thread I downloaded Inkscape (free graphics program) and started playing around with it. Decided to see if I could clean up and change the background color on the ASP decal. Here's the modified file:

Not bad for the first time with this program. Print on white decal paper.
I'll leave it up to you guys to match the paint to the decal color.

Wow, that's much better than anything I've been able to do with Inkscape. Thanks.
