My mom just sent me a message asking if these motors will work in my sons rockets...no they are to small ;-)

I was shocked to see that they have reduced the motors per pack .

She said it's a great deal buy one ($8.99 ) get one 1/2 off ... 😳

Yeah I saw those packs at a local Fred Meyer. At least they come with wadding I guess. Definitely marketed to the "toy" aspect of sales.

I assume that they are trying to keep the cost per pack "low". They did this with D motors a few yeas ago.

$4.50/ea for C6? Sheesh... I might have to start making 18/24mm AP sticks.

But even more importantly, Estes redesigned the packaging, for the first time in about 4 decades...

Only 3 packs with 4 ignitors are showing up on the website.

Looks like the same blister pack, not nearly as cool as the old blue diamond tubes or as useful as the ancient blue mailing tubes.

I remember reading in another thread that Estes is doing 2 packs for major stores (Walmart, etc.) as toys but keeping the traditional 3 packs on their site and probably in hobby stores too.
