New custom design. Inspired by Estes ESAM-58.
13 inch (33 cm) BT-55 body tube instead of 18 inch (45.7 cm) BT-60 body tube.
Forward fins trailing edge reshaped to match angle of aft fins.
2 x 3 fins instead of 2 x 4 fins of the original. And fins are same height now.
Nose cone came from Estes Cherokee-E kit.
Should be able to fly with an Estes A8-3 up to a Quest D20 18mm motors

Adjusted component parameters to match measured weight of nose cone and 18mm screw on retainer in design.

I'm in the process of building it so don't know how it will actually fly yet. But looks promising.

BT55 rockets all seem to fly pretty well. I like to fly them on B6-4, C6-5 will get as much or more altitude than I want.
I've been frustrated at the lack of variety in nose cones for BT55.

You may want to look into 3D printing then. You can make pretty much any shape nosecone you want, for cheap (disregarding the printer's cost). Printing a nosecone usually takes less than 30 minutes, and costs less than $1. Takes a little more work to finish, but nothing I don't already do to balsa to get it looking nice. Getting a nice sharp point on a nose cone gives it a look you don't really see in LPR.

Yes, the sweet spot for this design seem like the B6-4 or B4-4 motor.

Yes, I guess it does look a little like the Madcow Frenzy. There are only so many ways to arrange 3(6)FNC.

Your version of the Frenzy looks nice.
