I've wanted to build a Vega for a while now. Finally finished. I did not put the retro rockets on the top of the first stage. I just could not figure out how to make them and not have them look like... Well you know what they look like.
Here are some details.
24mm Motor mount
Stage one BT-80 tube
Stage two & 3 - BT-60
Fairing - 13mm BT-70 tube sandwiched between the transition and nose cone. I had to cut the shoulders off of the top of the transition and bottom of the nose cone to fit the scale I wanted. Length of shoulder about 5mm each.
Height - 70.8cm
4 pennies added for nose weight.
I'll try it on a C11-3 first.
