Just posted a review on my BSD Intrepid. Hopefully EMRR doesn't have to spend too much time on editing. It's easier for my to talk a review then type one out.

I see you left all of my kits off of the list...again!

Do you mean Roachworks' kits? or the kits you have built don't appear on the list?

If you mean Roachwork Kits, help me know what kits you have available... webpage, catalog, etc. and I will put some key ones on there.

Regards,
Nick

I think I'll put up a review of the Smokin' Rockets Mega Goblin.

....when I win the Lottery!!

Do you mean Roachworks' kits?

Sprints...4 different sizes.
LJII
Mini quad pack
Mincro Maxx kits

Sorry no web site...I basically just sell 'em here in this forum.

Okay, added. Please send Dick Stafford a list of your kits and the recommended motors so it can get added to our master list.

To All - bear in mind the list is not supposed to be all missing reviews, because first pass was 1154 reviews that appear to be missing and still "available".

I build the list by trying to expand on archives that don't seem to draw a lot of reviews, or does not have ANY reviews. In addition, I add kits that I think are cool and would like to see reviewed. Lastly, I look for newly released stuff.

That's it.... but this is only a building block.... wait until all of you, and especially TRF'ers see what is in store for EMRR in 2005! A Challenge for all of you!!!!!!

6 Days before it is unvailed.

Nick

I just built the Estes X-Prize Lucky Seven, and am working on the Gauchito.

Now, to launch them... and then review them.

That Lucky Seven is cool as a plastic toy, for sure. I taped the nose cone on, and my 5 year old has been running around the house flying it yesterday and today. It's like 8 inches tall and weighs 1.6 oz., since it's all plastic. The A10-.3(?)T is the only recommended motor.

You can now do partial reviews and store them for later completion!

FYI

Yep, I know. I'm in the middle of doing a review of the Quest Mirage (the purple payloader Quick Kit). I've got it stored and should finish it up soon.

Could you do Jr. Level 1 articles? I have a scratch build rocket coming for that that is 100% all my idea (now to find the $200 to build and launch it... I'm 1/10 of the way there!). Thanks!

You can scratch the Quest Brighthawk. Built and flown this weekend. What's up with those cheap Quest centering rings? I thought that the rings in my semi-RTF Brighthawk might have been due to it's semi-disposable nature, but I opened another kit that I bought at last week's Hobby Lobby sale and it has the same crappy rings. That's not a good sign in my book.

Bill,

What are they, thin paper disks or something else?

(I guess I could look at my Bright Hawk kit and see for myself, but typing is easier than walking downstairs.)

Yup. Wimpier than Texas chili. :D

Until you stick a D20 in there, those centering rings are probably adequate.

And hey, it's hard enough to keep up with a conversation in one forum or group without having it bleed over into another one!

But if I were an actual native Texan, I'm sure I'd be horribly offended by the mere suggestion that Texas chili might ever be considered wimpy. But since I'm not... no derringers here!

At least I didn't take it to RMR. If I had, "HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED" undoubtedly would have had something to say about it and would also have found a way to turn the thread to be about him. Talk about a DERRINGER!:kill: :D

Hey, if you took it to RMR, I'd never know it because I don't go there, so I wouldn't have to worry about following that part of the thread.

Also, please don't build and fly a Quest Sport before I get my review done! ;)

I just have to add this: He hasn't forgotten it, he just hasn't added it yet! You may now return to your usual programming

Nick,

You should add the Rockitflite Odyssey to the hit list.

Then I can review it and get credit for the EMRR Rocket Challenge.

If that's not self-serving, I don't know what is.

Actually, go ahead and review the Sport anytime you want to, since I don't seem to be reviewing anything these days.

At least it's not entirely self-serving. :)

I can't review my Odyssey until I finish and fly it... although I may fly it this weekend still undetailed/unprimed/unpainted/undecaled.

Just Remember...

All of you building this kit that are happy with the clarity of the instruction, be sure to thank JRThro for all of his help! (They may become a little screwed up at the point after he stopped building though!)

You have to admire the guy's honesty to admit what he's trying to do too... :p

Is "Launching Procedures" still misspelled on (roughly) page 41 of 43?

Sorry, Scott! You'll probably want to :kill: me now!
